I've been meaning to contact you to say what a wonderful fairy godfather you are.
It really made my year winning the £1,000 prize - I can't quite believe it - I don't think I've ever won anything ever before so thank you once again.
Some of the prize allowed me and my husband to visit a very old friend who now lives near Nice in the South of France. We had a wonderful few days together and were able to discover a very beautiful part of France that we didn't know. As well as a lot of catching up we went on some lovely walks, saw some stunning scenery, sampled some delicious food and tasted some very pleasant local wine. It was just the break we needed in this grey November weather.
The rest I've tucked away for some inevitable rainy days, but now they're definitely looking sunnier!
