Our Lottery Manager is Colin Barrett.  He came from a financial services background to found TLC in 1997. As a former Chairman of Hospice Lotteries Association and representative of the Lotteries Council Executive Committee he understands charity lotteries inside out and has helped build TLC into the success it is today.

 

Jim Hickey is one of our Promotional Officers who has been with us from the beginning. His genuine passion for fundraising makes him irresistible out in the field and he has introduced over 8,000 members to TLC.

 

Lorraine Halling is our Lottery Administrator who joined in 1999. She is responsible for the detail of the day to day running of the lottery and the smooth implementation of the weekly draws

 

Spreading the word in Solihull and South East Birmingham is John White our other Promotional Officer. He has always worked with charities and his experience has been invaluable since he joined TLC in 2001.

 

Taking care of our accounts is Tim Bett.  Having retired early as FD at British Gas, he started out as a volunteer with Acorns before coming on board at TLC.  His role was vital in setting up the systems here and complying with the requirements of the regulatory bodies.

 

Carl Bayliss is our latest recruit, having joined the team in September 2008 as Sales Manager. Carl is responsible for developing our Lottery One Off Ticket Sales as well as working with our Good Causes to develop their membership and establishing the Play as You Earn scheme with Companies. Carl has 10 years experience in fundraising and before that he spent 20 years in banking.

Our lady on the phone is Susan Webb who keeps in touch with existing members and canvasses new ones who prefer to play the lottery from the comfort of their own homes.  Since she arrived in 2004 Susan has signed up over 4,000 players.

 

Becky Prince is new to TLC having joined in May to provide a friendly voice on the phone encouraging new players to join the lottery and following up potential supporters that the external teams have met in garden centres, supermarkets and shopping centres around the region.

 

Sue Cox is another new face and she is there to support Carl Bayliss while he and the team are out in the field meeting the public and collecting for TLC.  Sue is involved in the administration and cash balances from one off lottery ticket sales and liaising with venues
